About Our Guest

Gregory Pence is the Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and an internationally recognized expert in Medical Ethics.

He is the author of several books, including, How to Build a Better Human, What We Talk About When We Talk About Clone Club? and the standard textbook of bioethics: Medical Ethics, which is now in its eighth edition.

He has published numerous op-ed essays, including pieces appearing in Newsweek, New York Times, Los Angles Times, Chronicle of Higher Education, and Wall Street Journal.
