Drug Dealer MD: The Opioid Epidemic with Anna Lembke MD

The U.S. is experiencing the worst opioid drug epidemic in its history, and the epidemic has been largely created and propagated by physicians overprescribing painkillers. Drug overdose has become the #1 cause of accidental death in the U.S., surpassing motor vehicle accidents with over 47,000 lethal overdoses in 2014. President Barack Obama has declared the prescription pill epidemic a greater threat to the United States than terrorism.
