Paul Offit is an internationally recognized infectious diseases specialist and an expert on vaccines, immunology, and virology. He is the Maurice R. Hilleman Professor of Vaccinology, Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and Director of the Vaccine Education Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He is the co-inventor of the rotavirus vaccine, and is a member of the CDC vaccine advisory committee.
Paul is the author of more than 160 scholarly articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, and the author of six medical narratives, including Pandora’s Lab: Seven Stories of Science Gone Wrong, and his latest book, Bad Advice: Or Why Celebrities, Politicians, And Activists Aren’t Your best Source of Health Information.
