About Our Guest
Dr. Stephen Hinshaw is a professor of psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. He has authored over three hundred publications and fourteen books, including The Mark of Shame: Stigma of Mental Illness and an Agenda for Change, The Triple Bind: Saving our Teenage Girls from Today’s Pressures, and The ADHD Explosion.
Professor Hinshaw was the 2016 recipient of the James McKeen Cattell Fellow Award from the Association for Psychological Science. The Cattell Award is the highest honor conferred by APS for a lifetime of outstanding contributions to applied Psychological research.
